Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience offers scouts an opportunity to have fun, while building teamwork and self-confidence, as well as providing a challenge in the outdoors. Scouts begin the week playing initiative games and team-building activities, a chance to climb on one of the best natural rock faces in the northeast, and finish the week off on our High Ropes course. Our ropes course has two different path options to choose from, one easier than the other, but both ending in a fun ride down the zip-line.

Climbing

Our climbing program begins with a belay class on Monday in order to ensure everyone is using the same method while we are climbing here at camp, which is a major step in safety first. The rest of the week our Climbing Staff leads hikes out to many of the different rock faces near camp at Ralph Stover State Park.
