Pool
| When you go to a scout camp for summer camp, you expect to find a place to go swimming, whether it’s a lake, or a pool. Very few places however, offer adults a hot tub to hang out and relax in each day. Our pool also offers on of the most interesting Water Carnivals ever found in a scout camp, and is getting even more interesting this year with activities going on in the fields near by to help keep everyone occupied during the event. We also gear all our instruction and activities to be fun and make all scouts feel comfortable, and confident in the water.** All Aquatics Merit Badges Require that scouts pass the BSA Swim test in order to take the badges. ** |

Water Carnival
Wednesday Nights is a blast at Ockanickon’s Pool, because we have a Water Carnival that beats all others. Inflatable toys abound, and fill the pool for tons of fun here. Each competition is designed to give everyone a chance to win, not just that troop that gets their scouts from the swim team. This year we are adding field events as well, so that even if your scouts aren’t in the pool doing the main event, they have something fun to do nearby to keep them occupied.
When: Wednesday Night, starts at 7:30pm
How to sign up: Event Sheets will be in your troop mailbox by Tuesday Dinner. Have your SPL assign scouts to the events according to their swimming abilities. You hold onto the sheet, and bring it with you so you can keep track of who’s up in the next event.
