The Planetarium- When: Tuesday or Thursday Nights Starts at 7pm Where: The Science Center Cost: Free
What is it? The Planetarium is a way to view the stars, even when the sky is covered in clouds, and you can do it in the air-conditioned comfort of the Science Center. It takes place inside the huge $10,000 Starlab inflatable dome that projects the stars in 360 degrees (the same view as being outside), while Jim guides you through each of the major stars and constellations.
*This program is not just to fulfill the Merit Badge Requirement. It also provides an amazing experience for leaders to learn about the sky as well.
