Camp Builders
The Camp Builders program provides youth and adult volunteers the opportunity to support scouting by helping improve Ockanickon Scout Reservation. Projects include renovating buildings and campsite structures, invasive plant removal, and more. There is always the opportunity for conservation hour requirements.
3rd Sunday of the month.
Participate in a full Camp Builders day and receive a special edition Council Shoulder Patch.
Chainsaw Work Days
Chainsaw workdays include bucking, felling, and/or splitting. You will need to be BSA chainsaw trained to use a chainsaw. However, you can still help as a spotter or puller in felling, or helping move materials. If you are 21+ years old and wish to take the chainsaw training please email Camp Ranger Alec Oates. You do not need any prior experience or gear to take the training, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
